VIKTOR&ROLF IN MILAN

In homage to the Italian Renaissance and to Palladio’s neo-classical architecture, fashion designers Viktor&Rolf chose to celebrate a sense of perspective, balance and symmetry in designing their Milan boutique, inaugurated in April 2005 on via Sant’Andrea. Antique pilasters, columns and arches… with a twist, because everything is topsy-turvy. Trompe l’œil effect, mirror images, chairs screwed into the ceiling, which is covered in floorboards. The dynamic duo’s sense of humor is right here, along with their fashion sense and accessories, and of course their famous perfume, FlowerBomb, which opens with waves of bergamot, one of the queens of Italian essences.
