MISSONI THE LUXURIOUS

The story of the celebrated Milanese fashion house Missoni, specialized in the art of colorful knits and graphic, multi-colored textiles, started with a love story between two working-class people, the athlete Ottavio Missoni and Rosita, the daughter of a knitwear manufacturer. Rosita now runs the place alone, pursuing creation with the same inner flame, and even adding a new feather in her cap with MissoniHome. The 2006 collection unfurls an enchanted and luxurious garden, in an indoor-outdoor spirit, with fringed parasols, oversized flower petals, hypnotic stripes… all wrapped in a breath of fantasy and freedom. The brand just signed an agreement with the cosmetics group Estée Lauder for creating and distributing perfume and related products.
