As I drive up the sunny, world-famous Pacific Coast Highway, with the ocean and the A-List celeb properties on my left – there are more Hollywood stars here then anywhere else in LA – I feel like I’m driving to California’s most exclusive fragrance creator.
Sarah Horowitz-Thran takes you on a ‘fragrance journey’ that lasts up to 90 minutes, inviting you to play with her ‘fragrance organ’, an apothecary-style piece of furniture made of wooden compartments with 200 essential oils, asking about your childhood, your emotions, colors, food, anything close to you and you alone – creating your own individual scent. Sarah has also created her own line - both Madonna and J.LO are huge fans - ready to buy in selected retail stores Perfect Perfumes... Now that definitely gives me an Oscar buzz!
Sarah Horowitz-Thran is one of those people… when you meet her, you feel like you’ve always known her, and vice-versa… She has a way of soothing you, her fragrance journey is like therapy, only you walk out with your own custom-made scent, not your next therapist appointment!
