The ingredients of N°5 are still there, but the proportions are different. The ylang-ylang has been softened. The aldehydes and neroli bestow greater freshness. Vanilla and woods have a stronger presence in the trail.

I read about the "new" Chanel #5 with trepidation. I hope to goodness they have not killed it ... beg your pardon, I mean "reformulated" it, like they did my beloved Mitsouko. I still have not forgiven Guerlain for that. You'd think that with all the new scents coming out every day, they'd have the sense to leave the old classics alone. Report as abusive content
