Description

The fragrance opens with citrus notes combined with neroli and blackcurrant. The middle note gathers peony, tuberose, jasmine and mimosa. Vetiver is the main element of the dry-down. It goes along with sandalwood, cedar and musks. A fragrance created by Karyn Khoury and IFF.

History

American fashion designer Tory Burch introduces her first feminine fragrance. The creation that bears her name ‘captures classic elements in unexpected ways’. In the same way as the clothes and accessories she designs, Tory Burch wanted to create something sophisticated but down-to-earth. The rectangular flacon is topped with an orange collar and a sophisticated golden cap.

Not unique or intriguing. Still, it's pleasant and co-workers are unlikely to complain about it. It's better than going without fragrance. It reminds me, slightly, of Florabotanica. The bottle has a "classic" style that will seem dated in just a few years. Lovers of fresh scents from the early 1990s are likely to love Tory Burch's namesake fragrance.

I did not like this perfume. I like vetiver, but I don't like the way it was handled in this scent. Also very ordinary.

Je ne connaissais pas du tout Tory Birch. Le flacon est sobre et classe. Bien qu'un peu chargée de prime abord, la pyramide semble valoir le coup que l'on s'y arrête. A tester...
