Hard to classify, Amanu is a floral and woody composition that opens with a green and fruity blend of galbanum, lentisk and blood orange. In the heart, cedar leaves intertwine with a floral facet of magnolia and jasmine. The woody drydown is a relatively light mix of amber musk and fresh moss. Perfumer: Corinne Cachen, Drom.

Voyage au sud de la Turquie…

After numbers 01, 02, 03 and 04, the New York concept store Odin unveils Amanu 06. Amanu is the ancient name of a mountain range in Turkey that is now known as the Nur Mountains. Green and woody, this Mediterranean inspired fragrance is redolent of a journey over the fertile lands of Anatolia, in southern Turkey.

Eau de Toilette 3.4 oz.

The Amanu bottle, a smoky-black glass cube, unveils an ambry-hued juice. The cap is round and black. Placed in a stunning setting, the bottle is protected by black foam. The fragrance’s name is inscribed on the bottle in a more intense shade of black.

Floral, woodsy and green with galbanum's earthy (bordering on mineral--like) note does sound hard to classify. But it sounds divine.
