Description
Very modern for its time, Colony was distinguished by the use of a pineapple note, delicately placed on a chypre structure. Thomas Fontaine has therefore plunged in the heart of the original formula to compose a fruity chypre (mango, pineapple) , where the floral heart (rose, jasmine) meet spices ( clove, cinnamon) on a woody base almost leathery .
History
In 2013, Patou launched its Héritage Collection , to better rediscover its flourishing past . The perfumer Thomas Fontaine has looked at the beautiful compositions of Henri Alméras , which , in collaboration with the designer , knew how wonderfully reproduce the imprint of his time in a bottle. In 2015, it was the time for Colony to be reinterpreted , gorgeous Fruity Cyprus with art deco inspirations, which reflect both the spices and the fruits of the islands, and the aura of sensual, jazzy Josephine Baker.

J'aime notes d'ananas. Je pense que ce parfum sera it tellement bien sur moi. il est un testeur pour certains........I love notes of pineapple. I think this parfum would be so good on me. It is a tester for certain.

Thomas Fontaine est un parfumeur de renom pour les grandes rééditions. Il est également le nez de One Love, le dernier opus de Scherrer. A tester bien sûr !
