While composing Osmanthe Yunnan, Jean Claude Ellena was inspired by the tea-apricot-and-freesia scent exhaled by osmanthus’s miniscule white blooms. The opening is refreshed with a drop of orange, the whole is fresh and delicate, tart, joyful and creamy.

At a glance

A Chinese emotion. A new olfactory poem by Jean Claude Ellena.

Created in 2004, the Hermessence Collection is expanding. By Jean Claude Ellena, exclusively for Hermès stores – presenting Osmanthe Yunnan. An olfactory voyage of discovery from the Forbidden City to Yunnan province, also known as the ‘Kingdom of Plants’. The perfumer worked on a fruity, creamy new fragrance based on petals of osmanthus, a rare Chinese flower with apricot accents. A fragrant new pleasure for men and women, to be found exclusively in Hermès boutiques.
