Description

Vétiver Moloko opens with a blend of bergamot and Bulgarian rose. In the heart, cypress is enhanced with milky notes. The trail pairs Madagascan vanilla with woody tonalities of vetiver and amyris. Perfumer: Guillaume Flavigny, Givaudan.

History

Vétiver Moloko is a fragrance from niche brand Ex Nihilo. Pairing heritage and innovation, the designers wanted to work with top-of-the-line ingredients in unusual combinations. The juice nestles in an Art Deco-inspired bottle, and the cap can be personalized with precious cabochons. According to the house, the fragrance comes across as sweet on women and more earthy on men. It owes its name to the ‘Moloko Plus’ cocktail in the film “Clockwork Orange”. For more information: ex-nihilo-paris.com

A Clockwork Orange is a subversive but intriguing movie and book. I love Ex Nihilo's advertising hook. It draws one in at the right time.
