Vetiver is resolutely green and fresh, totaly dominated by the scent of vetiver, enhanced by notes of lemon and lavender.

History

Twelve years after the immense success of Ma Griffe - the best-seller of the Carven House -, another perfume was born, classic and timeless: Vetiver. "All the things I like are green,"said Miss Carven, "Nature, trees, the ocean..." Miss Carven designed this distinguished, handsome yet natural fragrance for her husband. I appreciate the comments by ECKBO57 and CLAIRDEJOUR. I cannot remember the smell of this and I also wonder about reformulation.

CLAIRDEJOUR : merci pour vos impressions. Quel dommage que cette fragrance ait été dénaturée par la ou les reformulation (s). Je précise que dans mon commentaire du 7 septembre dernier, j'ai noté une version antérieure à la nouvelle et actuelle.

Très déçue par la version que Carven nous propose actuellement. Ne me rappelle pas le parfum de mon grand-père, tel qu'il est resté dans ma mémoire.
