It’s not spring yet but for perfumes, winter is gone. And this year, pink is back ! Here is a selection of new scents.
Just Cavallifor Her is a perfume of seduction thanks to its central note of tiare flower. The juice is pink, of course !
Goutte de rose (‘a drop of rose’ or ‘a drop of pink’) is the new fragrance in the Eau de Cartier collection. It’s a fresh eau with a drop of rose and woody facets.
Marc Jacobscreates Daisy Eau So Fresh Sunshine, a floral-fruity scent with pink (and green) flowers on its cap. Féerie Spring Blossom by Van Cleef & Arpels has a small fairy nestled on its pink bottle.
If you like trendy pink, Nicki Minaj has the perfect fragrance for you : Pink Friday. This perfume is a fruity floral in a very special bottle.
If you’re a seductress, why not try the new Playboy for her : Play it Pin up ? The case is blue but the juice and the ribbon of this fruity gourmand are pink.
And for all pink lovers, Victoria’s Secret launches a new body line called… Pink.

Report abuseLet's face it -- the target market is 18-49. You think so? Americans spend more money attracting "tweenagers" than most things except race car sponsorships. I am not surprised color factored in. How about that great Abercrombie & Fitch quartet of rugby type tee shirt colored colognes? How about Ralph Lauren's polo pony quartet? Sheer marketing genius. And once again, aimed at the more youthful - 11-21 yrs. old. Alas life doesn't stop at 21, in fact, it just gets started. Yet tell that to an 18 yr. old. The color blue is all over for men's perfumes. I don't see the trend stopping soon.

Report abuseI feel that Nicky Minaj's pink bottle represents her. She often wears pink hair. She knows she has many "tween" followers. Playboy & "pink" have always gone together. Daisy is aimed at the younger crowd after the success of Daisy. VS Pink line & perfume is geared to "tween-age" buyers & their excess allowances or their wish to be grown-up but still wanting slouchy lounge wear as their uniform.
