Guerlain’s fabled success story since 1925, the oriental Shalimar has come out with a light, radiant summer version. Like a fountain of youth for the venerable fragrance, it is intended for younger women, fans of the Aqua Allegoria line.
Using pure and simple notes, Guerlain has proven that it is the choice of ingredients that makes a top-quality juice. Like a love potion, Eau Légère was made to seduce, attract and charm. "Wearing Shalimar is like deciding to let your senses take over. It reveals our femininity and frees our fantasies". Its luminous, dynamic composition calls forth “joie de vivre”. The revised composition, by Mathilde Laurent, is more sparkling and fun, but as sensual as ever. Eau Légère glows with the tart aromas of lemon, bergamot and orange. Its heart beats with a warm bouquet of iris and jasmine. You’ll recognize the Oriental bottom notes of vanilla and amber that made the original edition so successful.
Like the juice, the bottle is based on the original, in a paler blue and a more slender form.
