Sensual, enigmatic… Vanille Exquise, a rare vanilla. By the House of Annick Goutal.

For late 2004, the House of Goutal has built a tantalizing essence around the scent of vanilla. The voluptuous, carnal trail evokes ‘the original bean in its lovely brown garb’. Reminiscent of Cleopatra’s milk baths, it invites you on a fantastic voyage to faraway islands. A rare, almost unknown sensation, in a bottle with stunning bursts of gold.

Eau de Toilette, 1.7 and 3.4 fl. oz.; Perfume ABsolute, ½ fl. oz (limited edition).

A bewitching essence built around warm, creamy and sensual super-absolute of French vanilla from the Marquises Islands. Carried at the opening by a gentle note of angelica and an almond-y scent, illuminated at the heart by a caress of musks, benzoin and gaiac for a very interesting woodsy effect) – the fragrance is a rare caress.

Anise, Vanilla, and Gaiac wood. I can't seem to dislike any fragrance with this golden triangle of notes. The sweetness of anise lends naturally to the vanilla both of which balances perfectly with the slight jagged edges of Gaiac wood. AG never fails to deliver! More
