This winter, Saint Laurent fragrances is betting on the... Go
Nocturnal, dream-like… a sumptuous alchemy of absolutes. Songes, a magnificent floral, is true to the house of Annick Goutal’s tradition of grand, heady scents. Some 7 million Sambac jasmine blossoms are required to obtain a single kilo (2.2 pounds) of extract. That makes of Songes a rare perfume, a pure moment of extraordinarily sensual pleasure.
Eau de Parfum, 1.7 and 3.4 fl. oz.; Eau de Toilette, 1.7 and 3.4 fl. oz.
A gentle jasmine opening, in which Sambac jasmine absolute is garbed in tiare flower and frangipani blossom. A balsamic-vanilla heart where French vanilla extra-absolute meets ylang-ylang absolute. From heady and sweet, the fragrance evolves towards a wood-and-amber trail.
Two different bottles have been produced: the house’s traditional spray bottle with the golden cap, as well as a spherical bottle topped with a golden, crescent-moon cabochon.
