LES NUITS D'HADRIEN Christmas 2004 Edition by Annick Goutal

A lovely collection of precious painted bottles to give as gifts...or to collect yourself.

Each holiday season, the House of Annick Goutal releases a collection of hand-painted bottles of its best-seller, the near-mythical Eau d'Hadrien. And this year, the night-time version, with mysterious accents of Italy, Les Nuits d'Hadrien, is also being released in a collectors's edition. An alliance of poetry, affection and charming bucolic colors, for a very refined gift.

For both 'Les Nuits d'Hadrien' and Eau d'Hadrien: Eau de Toilette 6 fl. oz., hand-painted bottle. Eau de Parfum Butterfly Ball , 3.4 fl. oz.. Candle.

Inspired by Eau d'Hadrien, the scent of Nuits d'Hadrien is warmer, thanks to the Oriental notes of ylang-ylang, sandalwood and vanilla.

Lovely hand-painted, gold-leaf bottles. In a decor of black and vermilion petals for Les Nuits d'Hadrien, and a dreamy halo of green and gold for Eau d'Hadrien.

Some days I wish that bitter citrus opening would last but then we have Eau d'Hadrien to do that in the midst of summer. Usually I wear Les Nuit d'Hadrien in the dead of winter when full blast citrus just seems out of place. I love the artemisia note in the opening and adore the warm sandalwood/vanilla drydown. A perfect taste of both worlds. More
