The Opium man, taken with the mystery and absolute freedom of the Orient, ‘joins his feminine alter ego in 2006’. For Yves Saint Laurent is offering a fresh and seductive limited edition of his classically Oriental men’s fragrance, Opium pour Homme. Moving to the rhythm of waves of grapefruit, fresh-cut ginger, star anise and Moroccan amber, it shines with a new light. A limited, collector’s edition in which the box and bottle have plant motifs evoking travel.

Eau d’Orient, 3.4 fl. oz. Limited Edition.

A sparkling opening of citrus uniting with star anise, ‘like a summer shiver’. The heart reveals the scent’s spicy character with a vibrantly exotic burst of pepper, nutmeg and ginger. Then the fragrance evolves towards a ‘brilliant and almost casual’ dry-down composed of wood and Moroccan amber essences.

The Opium pour Homme bottle and box are clad in bamboo-branch and white pepper motifs in an intense-blue hue.
