Polo by Ralph Lauren

An elitist, Polo is the eau de toilette for "go-getters" who are sensitive to the beauty of lasting things which have a history. Polo evokes the notion of clan; of "practitioners" of a sport with insider's rules, of the codes of an Anglophile refinement... values that form the basis of an American myth which Ralph Lauren excels in conveying in his perfumes.

As a truly masculine fragrance, it avoids all floral notes. The top note is green, herbaceous and tonic by the presence of artemesia, basil, thyme, chamomile, clove, pimento, cumin and coriander. This gives way to a strong coniferous middle note, enhanced by patchouli, moss and vetiver. The end note of leather, tobacco and incense creates a product of character.

This has always been my all-time favorite for men! It is clean, fresh and masculine. A very distinguishable fragrance. The blending of all the scents seems to mesh in a unique and extremely pleasureable way. I just love it! More
