This internationally renowned brand, present in fashion, accessories, home decoration and fragrance was created by couturier Kenzo Takada, who was born in Japan but launched his career in France. His first women’s collection came out in the early 70s, followed by a men’s line in the 80s. Today Kenzo is part of the LVMH group. Both Kenzo’s fragrances and his fashion have a strong brand identity tied up with poetry, color, travel and the encounter between nature and the city. His first fragrances were Kenzo de Kenzo (88), Kenzo pour Homme (91) and Parfum d’Eté (92). These were followed by Jungle, L’Eau par Kenzo, Flower by Kenzo with its famous poppy bottle, Summer by Kenzo, Kenzo Amour (2006) and the men’s scent Tokyo by Kenzo (2007). Kenzo has also entered skin care, with the Kenzoki line and its innovative, five-senses based approach. Info: www. kenzoparfums.com
