Story

Sweet with a touch of bitterness, Eau de gentiane blanche is a unisex eau being launched for the 30th anniversary of Hermès’s famous Eau d’orange verte. Rare in perfumery, gentian root is more often used for its medicinal qualities and in preparing liqueurs.

Description

A sweet, matte eau in which gentian root goes crisp, green, aromatic, musky, a bit iridescent and dry, and even mossy. Designed by: Jean-Claude Ellena

Eau de colognes can be rather uninspiring because basically all you smell is citrus in all of its renditions. Jean-Claude Ellena has added a new dimension to the eau de cologne by creating a fresh scent without being overly citrus and without smelling like you've rubbed a lemon on your skin.
