Private Collection by Estée Lauder

Private collection was created for the private use of Estée Lauder who wanted to keep her personality a mystery.It's a delicate and precious perfume designed for sophisticated and refined women.

Belonging to the family of green florals, Private Collection features several flowers.The top note reveals orange blossom and linden, the heart note is composed of Bulgarian rose, jasmine and chrysanthemum, and the end note combines heliotrope and musks to create an extremely elegant composition.

Estée Lauder chose to capture Private Collection in a flacon made of frosted glass, crowned by a gilded stopper. The box is directly inspired by Madame Lauder's personal writing paper.

Private Collection is like having your favorite five-course meal at the best French restaurant. It is all you could hope for top to bottom. I enjoy the challenge of the minimalists, the gourmands, the sphericals and all that's to come, but this is an effortless joy and a standard of an era in American perfumery. More
