I agree that mystic is all about deep, mysterious smell. For me Mandrake by Annick Goutal and Messe de minuit of Etro gave a mystical smell, fraice passiflore by Maitre parfumeur de gantiane also has soft mystic smell. Report as abusive content |

Right off the top--Christmas tree! But I do not like to make light of woods and resins. They are ever my favorites. I tend to prefer them in the environment rather than the dominant notes I'm wearing. It's a bit of a Christmas eve journey from the living room where the Christmas tree is, to church with it's incense and a peak of myrrh. Quite jolly, but not something I'd label as exotic. Warm, familiar, and reassuring. Report as abusive content |

These scents are cousins with former hitting harder on the incense and balsam notes for me and Luten's Fille en Arguilles getting a lift from the camphor note. An interesting comparison. Report as abusive content |
