More than four hours out of the container, theres not much change in the arrangement of the notes. Rosiness remains dominant. The Coty Chypre persists without dropping down to its base. I note it is a close-in fragrance--little sillage.

Time will not be used as a factor in the observation since this is identified as a "note." The scent is fresh, greenish, and herbal. I do not detect a separate element of cinnamon which is a very familiar scent. It is much more subtle than I thought it would be. I find it pleasant and refreshing but not particularly boisterous in any way.

Time will not be used as a factor in the observation since this is identified as a "note." I smell apple and melon "salad." Yum!

ITime will not be used as a factor in the observation since this is identified as a "note." I smell clearly the fragrance "Angel." Setting that aside I have the sense of smelling confections that are non-descript--something that would come in a white box with individual items in little paper cups from a shop that makes chocolates, etc. I can hear the paper cups making there noise as you make a selection.

I just completed a first exposure to each of the containers in the Volume I set and found the experience very interesting. The Notebook provided with the set is very, very good. The way it's put together makes the information bite-sized and fun, yet it gets across key points that are appropriate to make. I'm looking forward to making up games, "blind tests," and trying some olfactory combinations using the smell strips in fan configurations, as suggested by Monsieur Morillas. Any ideas for "experiments" from others are most welcome. I am also going to go back to the Citrus Accord (No. 1) and play with comparison between it and 4711. I like 4711 as sort of a sorbet, on occasion, to steady the nose. I am going to do the same for the Floral Accord (No. 4) relative to Jean Patou's Joy. I find these postings handy as a means to register my notes for myself as well as to share with others.

Today my husband blind tested me on the first six of the scents in the Mythic Accords set. Not bad individually. I also did a fan of Containers 1, 4, 5, and 8 (citrus, floral, woody and musk). Pleasant but very faint. I remain challenged when things are in a combination to discern individual notes unless they rather dominant.
