Scent adds to my well belng. I use scents that I think reflect well being and comfort for the season. For example, right now because it is winter I burn candles and oils that have vanillas, musk, amber, spices and woods. My perfumes and lotions reflect the same. Now, in the spring, I will change my perfumes, candles, and oils to florals because winter scents are too heavy. Summer I do citus, water and air scents. Fall I do lighter versions of winter scents with touches of apples, pomegrates and such.

I like to surrond myself with essential oils like lavender or mint if I'm feeling tired or have a headache. At night I like lavender or citrus on a handkerchief. In the daytime I wear a light rose scent and heavier ones for evening wear. I don't like candles very much but at Christmas my favourite is Armani Privee's Bois D'encens.I almost forgot bathing , I have Abahna's huge box of bathing oils, foams etc and essential oils to add. My favourite mix is frankincense and cedar and cedar and lemon.

The addition of cedar is a very interesting note. I am going to search osmoz and see what other scents have cedar...any suggestions? What other perfumes do you wear?

Hi there I am in England but I think you have L'Occitane and they have a new Cedar perfume/EDT. I am mainly a rose girl ( rather elderly girl) but I do love woods . I sent for the olfactory set in woods . I prefer it if incense scents aren't too packed out with cedar so love Amouage ( all but Ubar ).

Hello, I love rose scents. Tea Rose and tuberose notes are my favorites. For Christmas my husband gave me Angel Garden perfumes. The rose one is fabulous!

I think lavendar sprayed on ironed linens is wonderful. I have enjoyed the new LM01 scented candle from Le Labo during the recent holiday. It's a take on an atmospheric Meridien scent which smells nothing like the old Meridien but is a lovely scent like wood in a fireplace. I can't tell you enough about how much it enhances a faux woodburning stove. And there's no mess!
