A L'Artisan SA at a Barneys has told prospective buyers of their fragrance, "Not to rub the wrists together because it will bruise the molecules." Okaaaayyyy. Step away from the counter slowly. This sounds like a well rehearsed line from a sales training seminar. It's also a myth that I thought had been dealt with by Dr. Luca Turin & Tania Sanchez in his recent book, Perfumes The Guide (pgs 46-47). So, why is this myth being perpetuated in the fragrance industry? Why are SA's still being taught to warn clients not "to rub their wrists together"? Report as abusive content |
