Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour goes to L’Artisan Parfumeur

Date: 05.13.2008

Formerly with Symrise, Bertrand Duchaufour has joined the team at the Grande Boutique de l’Artisan Parfumeur. Already credited with several of the brand’s creations (Méchant Loup, Patchouli Patch, Timbuktu, Dzongkha, Piment Brûlant and more), Bertand Duchaufour is now in charge of creating bespoke fragrances and of other olfactory projects for the brand. He’ll still be working out of house as an independent perfumer too, however. And L’Artisan Parfumeur has put independent perfumer Stéphanie Bakouche in charge of workshops and training. L’Artisan Parfumeur has stated that ‘true to their tradition of olfactory freedom’, the house will continue to call upon outside perfumers, under the olfactory direction of Pamela Roberts (seen her with B. Duchaufour).
