Travel rites are all the rage

Fragrance collections concocted like exotic travel guides have the wind in their sales just now. Besides scented eaus, they often include rites to pamper the body and soul: bath lines, creams, scrubs or massage oils… Spa brand Cinq Mondes (Five Worlds’), for example, proposes 5 exotic destinations: Japan, Morocco, Thailand (Siam), Indonesia and lndia. Lafayette Beauté explores more accessible exoticism with Lapland, Polynesia, Japan and Tanzania. And American designer Michael Kors explores a different island every year, in a limited edition flanker for his fragrance ‘Island’. After Fiji and Hawaii, this year he’ll be featuring the Italian isle of Capri. For those who love the Mediterranean, other lines worth looking into include the new collection Les Bains du Marais (Verger en Mediterannée, Citronnier en Sicile (“A Mediterrean Orchard”, “Sicilian Lemon Tree” and more) or the now-classic Blu Mediterraneo (from Acqua di Parma).
