Boss gets fresh with PURE

Hugo Boss fragrances has just unveiled PURE, a new fragrance in the BOSS line. While their men’s scents in the HUGO line, aimed at a younger market, are essentially aromatic, those in the more refined men’s line BOSS tend to stay within an oriental register. A first exception to the rule was noticed in 2006, with Boss Selection, presented as a fougere, but with sweet notes of heliotrope, patchouli and cedar needles that kept it mellow. With the woody-aromatic PURE, the brand is taking a real olfactory turn. The fragrance is wrapped in sheer florals (hyacinth, lily-of-the-valley) and a touch of fig, and boasts a note of massoia wood in the drydown.
