Famous in baking for its fragrant taste and bright green hue, angelica is also a note that’s catching on in fragrance. This spring, its musky-fruity, aromatic note has pride of place in Angélique Lilas, one of Guerlain’s two new Aqua Allegoria. The famous house also spotlighted it recently in Angélique Noire, a fragrance in the L’Art et La Matière line, in which it’s blended with vanilla. Another recent creation centered on angelica, the cologne Angélique by Jardin de France.
