Maurice Roucel presents Dans tes bras

Frederic Malle has just unveiled his latest fragrance, Dans tes bras (“In your arms”), designed by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The fragrance was inspired by cashmeran, a sweet, woodsy-ambry ingredient that is notoriously difficult to work with. The composition was softened with floral tones, including a ‘cocktail of salicylates’ and a green-scented violet note. The spicy character of clove, paired with frankincense, bestows an almost carnation-like tonality. Distinctly les heady than Musc Ravageur (designed by Roucel in 2000 for the same brand), the overall effect is of a spicy-woodsy, slightly solar floral. 3.4-oz. spray: €155, 1.7-oz. spray €105.
