What fragrance are you wearing today?

Nothing today. Sometimes I wear Booster by Lacoste, but only when I am on land.

What was your first fragrance?

My mother's, but unfortunately I can't remember what it was called.

Are there any smells that bring back memories?

Nail polish mixed with the blond tobacco of corked-tipped "Craven" cigarettes.

What smells do you hate?

The smell of canned cat food.

What are your favorite smells?

Above all, the one you get from land after having been at sea for a good bit of time.

Have you ever worn more than one scent at the same time?

No.

What fragrance do you like to smell on someone else?

Shalimar, by Guerlain, my wife's perfume. It was also what a wonderful grandmother I met in my youth wore.
