Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Lemongrass, Orange Flower, Clean Notes, Violet
Soft Woods, Ambergris, Patchouli, Vanilla, Cistus, Ambreine
Andy Tauer describes Orange Star as ‘a rich citrus fragrance with a clean orange flower in its heart.’ If the orange flower is rather discrete, the fizzy hesperidic notes of clementine and mandarin orange are intensely there. Then the scent gets more and more woody and ambery, remembering ambergris and cistus. Those who tried Tauer’s Mandarines Ambrées soap will probably appreciate Orange Star. Orange Star is a bright and elegant citrus scent that evolves towards a rich woody ambery base. The topnotes include essential oils of clementine and mandarin. This citrus opening continues at the heart of the scent with lemongrass and ‘a clean orange flower accord’. The heart also comprises fresh notes of violet. Soft woody undertones appear and the scent gets more ambery with hints of vanilla, patchouli and balsamic notes. Indeed, Andy Tauer confides that he enriched the base ‘with a drop of a natural resin from cistus, known as Ambreine’. A fragrance for women or men.
