Story
According to the dictionary, an intrigante is a woman who “gets mixed up in intrigues, who schemes and contrives (another meaning of “to intrigue”, in French) to achieve her goals’. At Parfums d’Orsay, an intrigante is first and foremost a charmer, i.e., according to the brand: a ‘bewitching and ambitious temptress’. She is also a woman with good taste, who enjoys what’s rare and precious. Her perfume is in her image: seductive and unusual. The vanilla intertwines with spices and a musky-suede accord. Description
A sweet, but hard to categorize scent, L’Intrigante seems to be dominated by its balmy-vanilla trail. The spices are fairly noticeable, bringing the perfume a touch of freshness. The brand boasts a camellia accord, and the fragrance does have a few floral tonalities. They smell like dashes of ylang-ylang, tuberose or perhaps jasmine. The creamy trail is slightly leathery, with a “musky-suede” accord.

Bottle
A cubic bottle with rounded edges, sheathed in a jet-black package. The packaging has a purply-pink mask for a masked ball drawn on it.
