Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
With Cœur de Vétiver Sacré, L’Artisan Parfumeur pays tribute to a key perfumery ingredient: vetiver. Vetiver reveals its gentler side here. Rather than focusing on the root note and the earthy facet, it has been garbed in an association of green, balmy, aromatic, fruity and other notes instead. L’Artisan Parfumeur was looking for a ‘noble vetiver,’ ‘like an homage to dreams of the East’. So this fragrance could well appeal to all those – both male and female – who aren’t usually keen on the fairly recognizable vetiver note.
At the top, Cœur de Vétiver Sacré unveils fresh, citrusy, green and aromatic notes; they segue into a heart with an alliance of peppery and saffrony notes. Osmanthus and date grant a lusher, fruitier facet. The trail reveals vetiver softened with ambry and spiritual notes of frankincense, as well as leathery-musky facets. Perfumer: Karine Vinchon.
