Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Gourmand and oriental, ANGEL Le Goût du Parfum is one element in a Thierry Mugler initiative: revisiting his four classic scents with a gastronomical touch. For Angel, the house decided to go with cocoa as a ‘flavor enhancer,’ in order to create a fragrance that was ‘as gourmand as can be.’ To go all out with his concept, Thierry Mugler asked well-known chef Hélène Darroze to come up with recipes inspired by the four revisited fragrances. On the menu for Angel is duck filet with a pink-praline crust, served with an intense Mexican mole (cocoa sauce).
The fragrance’s very cocoa-y opening also reveals berries and a jam note. The gourmand heart blends praline with spices before evolving towards Angel’s vanilla-woodsy signature.
