Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Pink Pepper
Orange Blossom, Tuberose Note
This lush fragrance signed Roberto Cavalli was born under the sign of sultry charm and seductiveness. It is intended for a voluptuously elusive and feline woman who catches all eyes: in a word, the Roberto Cavalli woman. ‘A strong personality is the sexiest thing,’ a woman can possess, the Italian designer confides.
The perfume opens with spicy notes of pink pepper before evolving towards a lush heart composed around orange-blossom absolute. There is also an undeclared tuberose effect. The ambry trail is dominated by tonka bean. Perfumer: Louise Turner, Givaudan.
Eau de Parfum 1, 1.7 and 2.5 oz.; Shower Gel 5 oz.; Body Lotion 5 oz.
The round bottle, evocative of ‘a woman’s sensual curves,’ reveals a golden juice. The tiger-fur trimmed golden cap is topped with a jewel-like version of the Roberto Cavalli logo.
Cavalli is the king of trash. This trashy piece is made with slightly better ingredients than his previous fragrances, but I have only one word for it: sickening. The sillage was powerful, people on the bus looked at me with evident distaste. A blast of tuberose, neroli and other substances - thiis is meant to be sexy but it was just eye-watering, sickeningly sweet and disgusting. More
