Sweet and voluptuous, with a hint of leather, Rose Centifolia 2009 reinterprets Very Irrésistible. For the fifth straight year, Givenchy presents a limited edition of his most emblematic perfumes re-composed around a flower that had an exceptional harvest the preceding year. Very Irrésistible is featuring Centifolia rose from the Tidass region of Morocco. Centifolia rose grows on a plain near Casablanca. Over an area of just 50 acres, this is the only place in the country where this variety is grown: in the rest of Morocco, they grow Damask rose. Also worth checking out: sambac jasmine from Coimbatore India for Organza, Egyptian Nile Valley orange blossom for Ange ou Démon, and French mimosa from Grasse for Amarige.
Top notes of rose absolute with fresh, climbing facets twine with aromatic notes of star anise for a delicate opening. The rose bouquet at the heart offers honeyed and spicy facets. The warm base of vanilla and patchouli, with woody and leathery accents, offers the fragrance an enveloping sensuality.
Eau de Parfum 2 oz. Limited Edition.
For the 2009 harvest, the cubic bottle with rounded angles is presented in a white package with a floral pattern. The same pattern appears on the bottle too.
