Without a doubt, this is the most unique, commercially available fragrance out there. When you smell this, you don't think, "oh, this smells like ****" A lot of perfumes being released these days are really similar to one another, so much so, that it is sometimes difficult to tell them apart.

This doesn't smell like the other Cheries, and that's probably why I love it so much. I've been wearing it for about a year now and it is truly spring in a bottle... although I like to wear it year-round. At first, there is a burst of light orange/citrus with some fruit I can't distinguish (melon or pear? Whatever it is, it softens the citrus) Then there is a slightly sharp, white floral - gardenia. However, it's not an aggressive gardenia. It's clean, uplifting. The base is just divine. There is definitely a woody caramel and something else that softens it. I normally can't wear musks, but white musk is the exception. Maybe it's the white musk that keeps the base from smelling too sweet.

Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau is not only different from the mainstream brands, but it's unique within the Dior range, I find. Don't expect this to smell like the other Cheries, because it doesn't. While the others are warm and sweet, this is fresh and sweet/tangy and invigorating. It will certainly put you in a good mood. I just can't get enough of it - in fact, I plan on purchasing another bottle soon, before it's no longer available. :)
