Burberry’s London for Men by follows in the footsteps of the house’s chic and luxurious women’s scent, London. In an ad starring British actor Ioan Gruffudd, photographer Mario Testino ‘captures the spirit of a London man going to work in the City’ in the form of a photo album. The oriental fragrance blends notes of wood, cinnamon, port wine and tobacco.
A amber-woody-spicy creation with a lively and sensual opening of cinnamon leaves and pepper. At the heart, the fruity flavor of port wine is paired with leather to announce a woody-oriental trail. Oak moss and gaiac wood blend with sweet vanilla waves of opoponax resin. Fragrance designer: Antoine Maisondieu.
Eau de Toilette 1, 1.7 and 3.4 fl. oz.. All-Over Shower Gel 5 fl. oz.; After Shave Emulsion 5 fl. oz.; After Shave Spray 3.4 fl. oz.; Deodorant Stick 2.6 oz.
The rectangular glass bottle is garbed in a close-up of the house’s signature plaid, in a dark brown hue. The packaging, which repeats the pattern in trompe-l’œil, has a fabric logo, like a clothing label, with the fragrance’s name. Design: Fabien Baron.
