It opens up with a subtle floral, sweet scent, not overpowering, but light and fresh. I was a little worried about the overpowering patchouli, but it blended beautifully with the sequoia, leaving you feeling very pretty. This is very discernible from her first perfumes. If you like a light fruity floral perfume with a woodsy base...this is for you!!!
