Category Tobacco

Tobacco, honey-flavored, floral, animal.

The main producers of beeswax are France, Morocco, and Spain.

After the honey is removed, the honeycomb is treated with volatile solvents and then washed with alcohol to extract the absolute. Some producers extract the beeswax using alcohol and obtain the absolute directly.

Used in fine perfumery to lend a natural effect to floral, tuberous, jasmine, rose and carnation notes. It is also found in association with tobacco and dried fruit notes
