Eucalyptus is a tree with fragrant grey-green foliage originally from Australia (Tasmania) that can reach a height of 90m. It is also found in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
The essence is extracted from the leaves and twigs through steam distillation.
Used widely for technical products, soaps and detergents, as well as for pharmaceutical products.
Aromatherapy: relieves burns, blisters, herpes or other skin ailments. Used for muscular pain, asthma, circulation problems, coughing and other throat infections.
